Ashlee Simpson Doesn’t Follow Wacky Diet

In a recent interview, Ashlee Simpson said that although she did diet after giving birth to her son, she found that she couldn’t keep up with the strict rules and eventually gave it up. Instead, she did it her own simple way. Keep reading to find out what exactly she did!

“I didn’t follow any wacky celebrity diet — I believe in moderation,” she said. “I try not to pig out or to eat late at night. I just try to go for lots of walks with Bronx and Pete.”

“Besides running around after a little one is exercise enough. Your body is built the way it is, so I just wear the clothes that flatter me and make me feel confident. I’ve learned to feel sexy in my own skin.”

Ashlee also mentioned that her life now revolves around her son, she there is no time for her to go to the gym or follow a strict diet regimen.

“Bronx is on a normal schedule now and sleeps through the night,” she said. “He gets two naps a day so we schedule everything around him and when he can come to set with me.”

Ashlee does say that even though she doesn’t call it a diet, she follows a version of the Raw Food Diet which is basically a more traditional method of cooking. The Raw Food Diet involves eating raw foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, and also employs healthy cooking methods.
