According to close friends of Courteney’s, the star is following the Raw Food Diet – a diet that hundreds of celebs are already following and seeing results. So why is this diet so popular and does it really work?
The premise of the Raw Food Diet is based on eating raw, unprocessed foods such as fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, and beans. Meats are cooked at 116 F with a food dehydrator so that the healthy enzymes do not get lost. This diet is actually one of the best diets to date because it cuts out all of the healthy, processed foods that actually make us gain weight.
It’s a relatively easy diet to follow and according to sources Courteney is loving this diet because her entire family can partake in it. It doesn’t require any ready-made meals or hard recipes, just overall healthy eating and a huge emphasis on fruits and veggies.
Aside from following the Raw Food Diet, Courteney is also exercising at the gym about 5 times a week, concentrating on cardio, strength training, and yoga.
