Drew Barrymore is America’s sweetheart and it seems that no matter what she does, whether it’s good or bad, we still love her!  Lately, Drew has been looking nothing short of breath taking and we’re all curious as to how she managed to get herself into such great shape. Keep reading to find out!

Drew Barrymore on the Raw Food Diet

Apparently, Drew has just started on the ever-famous, celebrity-endorsed Raw Food Diet. And by celebrity endorsed what I really mean is that they’re all going crazy for it. So it must be a pretty good diet then, no? Well as gross as it may sound, this diet is not actually what you think it is. It’s not comprised of raw meat and fish, but rather, has an emphasis on eating healthy raw fruits and veggies, including nuts and seeds.

As for the meat part, everything is cooked at a certain temperature, 116F to be exact, and nothing above that. Also, meats are cooked in a dehydrator so that the nutrients stay intact and you get your daily recommended dose of proteins, vitamins, etc.

Although this is not a hard diet to follow, you still need to include some exercise alongside the diet like Drew is doing. She’s a huge yoga fan and tries to incorporate that into her busy lifestyle daily. Try jogging every morning for 20 minutes, or just do some brisk walking, dancing, whatever you feel comfortable doing. Exercise is an extremely important part of your lifestyle if you want to live a long, healthy life.
