Drew’s Diet
Although Drew says she doesn’t like to diet, she still tries to eat as healthy as possible and that is why she is following the Food Combining Diet.
The premise of the Food Combining Diet is that certain foods should be eaten together, while other foods should be eaten separately, or at a different time, as each food group requires different digestion times.
Different foods also require different digestive enzymes to assist in the digestive process – some acid, some alkaline. When acids and alkalines come in contact, they neutralize each other and this impedes digestion.
This is an excellent diet for Drew as it is more of a lifestyle than a diet. Drew says this diet helps her learn more about healthy foods and also helps her adapt to a new, healthy lifestyle. You too can go on the Food Combining Diet as it is very easy to follow and the pounds shed off quickly.
Drew combines this diet with lots of exercise (4-5 times a week) that includes cardio, strength training, toning exercises, eliptical and some yoga.
