Gwen Stefani’s Expert Diet & Exercise Tips

Gwen Stefani is not one of those to hide from the fact that she diets. In fact, she says she’s been struggling with maintaining her weight since she was in grade 6, admitting it’s all in the name of vanity. But how did Gwen feel after she gave birth?

“Your metabolism is like, whooosh! You’re sleep deprived, but you have this crazy amount of energy because of all those hormones. I’m scared what’ll happen when it all stops. What it’ll feel like, going back to the regular me. Now I’m in a repeater zone. I just want to make babies and make records.”

“I’ve gotten a little more feminine over the last few years. As the years go by, you get more comfortable with looking more like a woman.”

Gwen was also asked how she feels about trying to keep herself as a size 4.

“I hate talking about it, but it’s true. I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It’s an ongoing battle and it’s a nightmare. But I like clothes too much, and I always wanted to wear the outfits I would make. And I’m very vain.”

When asked what Gwen Stefani eats she replied “all the healthy stuff, but I usually let myself cheat once or twice a day with a pizza or a cookie”.

She also goes on the Fat Flush Diet occassionally when she needs to loose a few extra pounds for photoshoots, red carpet premieres, etc.
