How Jennifer Garner Got her Body Back

After having a baby in fall of 2009, Jennifer Garner bounced right back to her regular figure, and we’re all dying to know what she did.

But Jennifer didn’t rush to drop the baby weight like most other celeb moms do. She waited nine months until she decided to start dieting again. And Jennifer’s approach was always kids before cardio:

If the baby didn’t sleep well one night, then the next morning we might go 20 minutes instead of 60. If her kid needs to go to the doctor, she’s going to miss her workout,” says Valerie Waters (Jen’s long-time trainer).

She does her best to consistently work out, but if something happens, it’s not the end of the world.

Although Jen tries to keep a healthy diet going, she also loves comfort foods such as spaghetti and meatballs, but she tries her best to give her older daughter, Violet, some healthy snacks in between:

“I love to make a smoothie with a banana, mango and huge handfuls of spinach,” says Garner. “She’s getting all those healthy ingredients and it’s really yummy!”

Jen also has a weakness for chocolate, like the rest of us, and says that she has a piece after every single meal. Sounds pretty good to us!
