How Jennifer Hudson Dropped 5 Sizes!

American Idol singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has definitely struggled with her weight over the years, but she has never looked better! The singer admits to have had a very hard time dropping the weight, but after being on American Idol and realizing her potential, her attitude quickly changed.

In a recent interview, Jennifer admitted that although she went from a size 16 to a size 6 (yes…you read that right), she will never be “skinny”.  In fact, Hudson says she’s happy perfectly happy with her current weight!

“I don’t want to lose any more weight and you’re never going to see me skinny,” Hudson, 28, told InStyle Makeover magazine. “I think this is a good, natural size for me.”

How She Did It

After giving birth to her first son last year, Jennifer kicked it into high gear and started going to the gym frequently. Hudson attended her local gym about 5 times a week and also religiously followed the Weight Watchers Diet.

“It’s not a diet, it’s really a way of living that teaches you better skills,” she said. “For years I felt like I could never have ice cream, but I can eat ice cream occasionally now!”

Unlike other celebrities who are on the verge of starving themselves and look sickly thin, Jennifer is an amazing role model to everyone out there that’s striving to become happier and healthier.
