Rachael Ray is America’s sweetheart and the best cook around too, so it’s not wonder she’s packed on a few pounds over the years. But Rachael has put a plan in motion to loose a few pounds and she’s finally done it! With a little switch in her diet and a few exercise routines, Rachael’s back to her healthy weight. So how did she do it?

Rachael Ray recently did an interview for In Touch Magazine and she talked about her weight as well as her health. Because her show is about cooking, she says that it’s easy to control what goes into the food and what goes out. So she always tries to control to amount of salt, fat, and carbs, and that way she stays grounded.

But Rachael also doesn’t deprive herself from the good stuff either. If she has a craving for something, she’ll still eat it but in moderation. She says that you can keep your shape as long as you watch your foods and use portion control.

One of Rachael’s secrets to loosing weight and keeping fit is the Acai Berry Diet, which she even mentioned on her show. The Acai Berry Diet is a great detox diet as well as a natural diet that gets you to loose up to 35 pounds!

Rachael also works out a few times a week, incorporating lunges, pilates, push-ups and butt-lifts into her exercise routine. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get around to the gym that much, but she tries to do it wherever she may be!
