Jennifer Hudson is one of the few celebs in Hollywood that actually loves her body for what it is, and doesn’t look like a stick. Like any regular woman, she has hips, thighs, and a butt, but she’s still struggling to shed off those last few pounds. Jennifer says she doesn’t want to be stick thin and still wants to preserve her curves. So what’s this diva doing to lose a little bit more weight and keep it off?

Recently, celebs have taken a liking to the very famous Food Combining Diet and Jennifer has joined in as well. Unlike other diets, this one embraces consuming the foods you want and like in moderation and with a little knowldge of what foods should be eaten together and which should be eaten separately.

The premise for the Food Combining Diet is that certain foods should be eaten separately while other should be eaten together. Different foods require different digestive enzymes to assist in the digestive process – some acid, some alkaline. When acids and alkalines come in contact, they neutralize each other and this impedes digestion.

On this diet, there are three different types of food: alkali forming foods, concentrated proteins, and concentrated carbohydrates and starchy foods. The ladder form acid, and therefore should be avoided altogether. Many prefer the Food Combining Diet because you don’t deprive yourself of your favorite foods, but rather you learn how to consume them together in harmony.

Jennifer reports that since going on this diet, not only has she felt better, but she could instantly feel a difference in her energy levels, her complexion, as well as her weight. Many celebs enjoy this diet as it is not a diet, but rather a smart lifestyle.
