To make sure Julia keeps her weight on track, she’s begun the Macrobiotic Diet, a diet that is adored by hundreds of celebrities. Why? Well for one, it’s easy to follow, it doesn’t leave you hungry and it’s super healthy. With this diet, Julia concentrates on eating foods that are less processed and more natural, employing more traditional methods of cooking.

The Macrobiotic Diet has some very specific guidelines that need to be followed in order to successful weight loss to happen.

  • Well chewed whole cereal grains, especially brown rice: 25-30%
  • Vegetables: 30-40%
  • Beans and legumes: 5-10 %
  • Miso soup: 5%
  • Traditionally or naturally processed foods: 5-10%

The remainder is composed of fish, nuts, seasonings, fruits and beverages.
