Kelly Obsourne: Keeping up With her Diet

With her recent weight loss, Kelly Osbourne has managed to keep up the good work as she still looks incredible. Most people that lose a lot of weight at once, tend to stray and gain it all back very quickly, but Kelly was determined not to let this happen and keep on with her new, healthy choices. So how is she staying on the right path?

Although Kelly has not confirmed this, rumors have been going around that she is now following the Raw Food Diet which is basically the consumption of raw foods (but don’t worry, you don’t actually have to eat raw meat!). Kelly has been gorging on all kinds of raw goodies such as fresh organic fruits and veggies, nuts, seeds, etc. As for the meat, Kelly uses a  dehydrator which blows hot air through the food but never reaches a temperature higher than 116F. When food goes past that temperature, it loses its enzymes and all the nutritional value goes out the door.

The Raw Food Diet is basically a new and unique cooking technique as it teaches dieters a healthier lifestyle by employing different methods of cooking. Dieters juice theirs fruits and vegetables and use dehydrators for their meats as this ensures that food is easier to digest.

Since being on the Raw Food Diet, Kelly has not only noticed a difference in her weight but also in her energy levels. This diet also helps with the appearance of skin as all unnatural, processed food is cut out leaving only raw, vitamin-packed goodies. Among these benefits, the Raw Food Diet also ensures better digestion and reduces the risk of heart disease.
