Leighton Meester Diet and Exercise
You might know Leighton Meester from the hit TV Show “Gossip Girls” playing super-rich super-bitchy Blair Waldorf. What you might not know about Leighton though, is that she’s actually very sweet and grounded. Leighton doesn’t have a crazy diet and workout routine like most Hollywood celebs, and personally, I don’t think she needs one because she looks great. But she does follow a healthy diet – keep reading to find out what it is!
Currently, Leighton is on the Macrobiotic Diet which is based on choosing foods that are less processed and more natural, and employing more traditional methods of cooking.
Dietary recommendations include whole grains such as brown rice and grain products such as pasta, a variety of cooked and raw vegetables, beans and bean products such as tofu, sea vegetables, mild natural seasoning, fish, fruit, nuts, seeds, and mild beverages.
The Macrobiotic Diet is a very healthy diet that can be consumed by the entire family, including children. This is a good way to make sure that you eat healthy, cooked-at-home meals that aren’t fattening and bad for you.
As for exercise, Leighton isn’t too crazy about it but she does exercise a few times a week. She loves yoga and pilates and she also does a few strength training exercises to strengthen her core, abs, and legs.
