Meg Ryan is currently on the South Beach Diet which is a very popular diet amongst celebrities.he South Beach Diet was started by cardiologist Arthur Agatston in Miami, Florida. Dr. Agatston is a graduate of New York University and his diet emphasizes healthy carbohydrates as well as healthy fats. He developed the South Beach Diet while working with his cardiac patients based upon his study of scientific dieting research.
Dr. Agatston believes that bad carbs is what makes us gain weight, and until we get rid of those bad carbs, we can?t loose any weight! These ?bad fats? are saturated fats as well as trans fats, so it is very important that you check all labels and look out for the bad fats. The South Beach Diet consists of three phases, all of which encourage good fats and carbs and discourages bad fats.
