It’s no mystery that Reese Witherspoon has a great body and she really knows how to take care of it. What’s even better is that she’s got a hot man on her side that we all know and love, Jake Gyllenhaal, who even joins her on her workouts. But whether Reese workouts our with Jake, by herself, or with friends, she loves running and staying in shape.

“I try to exercise every day. I like to run for about an hour, and I’m big into working out with girlfriends,” Reese told InStyle magazine in a recent interview. “It’s an acquired skill, being able to discuss your love life, children and friends, all while you’re running! But we have mastered it.”

Reese spoke with the magazine not only about her workout routine, but also about herself and how she’s been feeling lately. The single mother admits that she’s not in her 20s anymore, nor does she look like that either. But she says that she’s very comfortable in her own skin regardless, and that as long as you’re comfortable, you’ll shine through!

“And Jake is a great cook, he does a lot. We spend the weekends outside L.A, in Ojai, where I have a farmhouse. We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it. It reminds me of where I grew up in Tennessee.”
