The Alkaline Diet
The Alkaline Diet is mainly about the pH that is contained in the human body. Too much of it and it can cause you severe problems. The Alkalaine Diet is not only good for weight loss, but to get your health back on track as well. The Alkaline Diet is amazing because it does all of these things: prevents disease, increases energy, and weight loss, are a few of the main benefits.The noraml pH of a human being is anywhere between 7.36 to 7.44. Most people consume large amounts of highly processed foods that acidify the bodys’ pH balance.

This causes the body to become too acidic, resulting in health problems ranging from weight gain, skin irritations, chronic fatigue, arthritis, ulcers, and chronic, degenerative diseases. The diet consists of 80% raw vegetables, nuts, and some fruits. Then 20% of acidic foods to bring the bodies pH back into range for optimal health.
On this diet, foods are classified as alkaline, acid, or neutral, according to the pH of the solution created with their ash in water. Of the allowed fruits, most of them need to be citrus fruits. The rest of the food includes lots of vegetables, tubers, nuts and legumes. You need to avoid grains, dairy, meat and excess salt. These foods are indicative of helping to maintain your body’s normal pH without stressing the body’s regulators of acid-base homeostasis.
The Alkaline Diet is great when it comes to balancing the body’s pH, because if we didn’t, we could end up with severe health problems. If your body does not have enough acidic pH, it will compensate by using alkaline minerals. If your diet does not contain enough minerals, a build up of acids will occur, forming Acidosis. Acidosis can cause you health problems such as:
