The Jennifer Aniston Diet: Lose 5 Pounds in 5 Days

Jennifer Aniston turned 40 this year and we think she’s never looked better. The actress has also been working on several new movies, all the while looking extremely fit and healthy. So what’s Aniston’s secret? According to Life & Style Weekly, Jennifer holds a week-long fast in which she loses a whopping 5 pounds during that week. Here is what her diet is comprised of:

The Jennifer Aniston Diet:Lose 5 Pounds in 5 Days

Breakfast: A 250 calorie egg white omelet packed with vegetables and feta cheese.

Lunch: A 300-500 calorie salad, with a high protein fish such as tuna.

Dinner: A lean 500 calorie fish or chicken entree, and salad greens with no dressing.

Although this diet may seem easy, Jennifer has to consume this same menu every single day of the week, without any snacks or sugary beverages in between. At 5′5, Jennifer’s calorie intake on this diet is between 1050 and 1250, which is very low for her height and weight. Doctors say that she should consume approximately 2200 calories per day, especially since she’s also getting exercise.

We’re not quite sure why Jennifer felt the need to lose an extra 5 pounds, but seeing as how to she is working on a few movies, that might also be the case. In any way, you should note that this diet will only get rid of water weight, so it’s not a permanent weight loss solution.
