The Master Cleanse Diet: Aftermath
I’m sorry I haven’t been able to update the last few days of my Master Cleanse Diet, but it’s been pretty hectic here and I haven’t had much time. Anyways, I was supposed to keep up the diet for 14 days (after which I was going to shoot for 20 days), but unfortunately, that didn’t happen!
How Long Did I Keep it up For?
I actually stopped the Master Cleanse Diet after 10 days. Why? Easter! Easter food is my absolute favorite and I just couldn’t contain myself anymore so I just gave in.
How Much Did I Lose?
I lost a whopping 10 pounds, but since then I’ve actually gained back 3-4 pounds, so not much change there, but I do feel better overall and I can definitely tell a difference in the way I look (my stomach is almost completely flat).
Post-Master-Cleanse
Upon ending the Master Cleanse Diet, you are supposed to ease in slowly and drink orange juice for 2 days after, then soup, then slowly reintroduce solid foods into your diet. I did not follow this recipe whatsoever. Easter was on Sunday and the last day on the diet was Saturday, so I didn’t ease in, but just started eating solid foods. Luckily, I did not have any stomach pains whatsoever or any constipation. I’ve read about many people that did not ease in and got major problems and actually had to go to the ER, so I do not recommend that you just start eating because you never know!
