The Master Cleanse Diet: Day 5&6

So I thought I’d just write in 2 days at a time since not much is happening other than the fact that I’m losing around 1lb-1 1/2lb a day. Yesterday was day 5 on the Master Cleanse Diet and I felt really great. My cravings were still at bay and I had tons of energy.

Today though, day 6, I’m starting to feel a little hungry and my cravings have been back. I don’t know why this is happening since the cravings are only supposed to linger around for the first few days or so, but I’m just trying to drink plenty of the lemonade mix and hopefully my cravings will go away by the end of the day.

Other than that, I’m still losing weight at a constant pace and so far today I am down to 125lbs from 131lbs when I first started 6 days ago. So as you can see that’s exactly 1lb a day. But, they do say that after the 7th or 8th day, you start losing more rapidly so we’ll see what happens.

    I work as a personal trainer and everything regarding weight loss and celebrity fitness is therefor of huge interest to me:o)

    I have a question about your Master Cleanse Diet, witch also regards all detox and cleanse diets.
    Are you able to keep up your work out regime? I`ve only tried a 7-day vegetable juice diet earlier, and I couldn`t keep up my daily workout after day 4 because of fatigue and lack of energy. (I cound do yoga, pilates and power walks, but running or weight training was a total disaster!)

    I´d love to do The MC diet but I also would like to work out..

    Good luck with your detox, I bet you will look and feel absolute fabolous!

    Hi Benni,

    It is recommended that you do not strain yourself while on the Master Cleanse Diet. Keep it light, and preserve your energy, you shouldn’t be doing any heavy cardio or anything like that. Stick to yoga, and light exercises. Trust me, you will not need to exercise, you’ll lost about a pound a day!

    I have 4-6 cardio and strenght classes per week… I guess I have to wait with my detox diet until the summer holiday:o) Have a great spring!

    Hi there does the mc diet give you headaches as whenever i have done detox diets i have suffered terribly with headaches and can you do this diet when you only have about a stone to loose??

    hi… this is my second day and everything is going great so far… i was just wondering if the sore throat is normal after every gulp….
